Synaesthesia: a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.

This is the concept that lays behind Synaesthetic and that inspired the birth of this magazine. Synaesthetic aims to bring together and cover - with a strong sense of aesthetics and the ambition to capture the spirit of our time - different areas of arts&culture: music, design, cinema, photography, fashion. Exactly like in a synaesthesia, in our stories one topic leads to another stimulating the reader’s mind to embrace culture as one big area where different themes contribute to shape our society. In doing so we link the past to the future, with a passion for the untold and staying faithful to ethos of always being one step beyond.
